Julie at Pinnacle Events helped me pull off the wedding of my dreams! We met twice before the big day to discuss my vision and details desired. She was very professional, easy-going, and offered great suggestions to include a few of the vendors I chose to use! Even when I handed her 15 pages of details and décor, she listened patiently to my requests and pointed out possible issues. On the big day, she knew how important it was for me to have my ceremony and cocktail hour outside...and she made every effort to make it happen up until the last minute, even when weather didn’t look like it would cooperate! All décor was placed as we discussed and she made some miscellaneous tables look even better than I had anticipated. Julie was the perfect planner and coordinator for me and I am so grateful that I hired her to make my wedding dreams come true! I could not have done it without her! I used Pinnacle Events as my event designer for my destination wedding in the WNC mountains in November 2014. I can not even begin to express how amazing Julie with Pinnacle was. We didn’t meet until the day of my wedding (since I live in Oklahoma), but because of her professionalism, knowledge and responsiveness, I knew she was the one that I wanted to handle the event design for my wedding. She took my vision and a few photos that I had pinned on pinterest and ran with it. Every single detail was absolutely perfect: from the florals to the centerpieces to the lighting. I can not give Julie enough stars because she far exceeded five stars in each category. Do not even second guess using her as your event planner or designer. She will not disappoint.

Wow! Julie and Emily are the best in the business! My photographer recommended I use Pinnacle Events as a day-of wedding coordinator, and I’m SO glad I did! I’m a DIY bride, and they helped me execute my vision perfectly. I told them what I was thinking, dropped off the supplies, and they handled the rest!! They were on top of the entire wedding process, and I didn’t have to worry about a thing on my wedding day. Julie and Emily were incredibly friendly, fun to work with, and very professional. If you’re on the fence about hiring a wedding planner or day-of coordinator, just hire them. I promise you won’t regret it!
Julie and Emily did a wonderful job planning our wedding. They had a fairly short time frame of about 6 months to plan an entirely outdoor wedding in my grandparents’ front yard. They came through wonderfully. They even helped us out by providing linens and Emily arranged the flowers and bouquets for the bridesmaids and myself. They were with us and kept us on a time frame to make sure everything ran smoothly the day of. They made multiple site visits with each vendor that had questions and made sure we would have everything each vendor needed on the big day. We moved around the times a lot on the wedding day and they did everything possible to accommodate us and our guests. They both listened to what I really wanted and the wedding ended up being simple, beautiful and fun. I could not have asked for a better day since I was able to enjoy the day and not worry with all the fuss of wedding day preparations. They were just a pleasure to work with and made our day a wonderful experience.
Emily and Julie were amazing in helping plan my wedding. In a short timeframe, they were able to get everything done with my vision and their attention to detail and excellent work ethic. Not only did they make my wedding amazingly beautiful, but they were able to do it while making sure I did not worry about anything (which for my controlling personality is pretty much a miracle) which allowed me to stay relaxed and happy on my wedding day.

Julie was able to help us pull everything together for our destination wedding perfectly! She was able to find us vendors when we had trouble and also worked closely with the vendors we brought in from other areas. I insisted on doing all of the decorations myself and bringing them up to the venue that morning and she was able to set everything up exactly as I had envisioned without me having to worry about anything! Julie was so easy to work with and extremely organized. Furthermore, she was very reliable and effectively communicated with our wedding vendors, in order to make sure that we had every detail we wanted in place. Having Julie there to help during our wedding weekend took so much of the burden off of us and allowed us to enjoy such a special time.

When we chose to hold our wedding at the gorgeous McGuire Gardens in Sylva NC, we also signed up with Julie at Pinnacle Events for day-of wedding help. This was probably one of the best decisions we made at any point in the entire planning process. Julie was informative, super helpful, and great about helping us get the feel we wanted for our big day while also working around our budget. She was excellent at making sure all our boxes were checked and getting us organized on the day-of, and was great at communicating without being overbearing. My husband and I didn’t have super strong feelings about decorations or theme, and with just a few vague ideas from us, Julie managed to put together a perfect atmosphere at McGuire Gardens. Everything was gorgeous without being over the top, and our friends and family raved that it was one of the nicest, prettiest weddings they’d attended (often prefaced with, I know you’re expecting to hear this but I’m SERIOUS). I couldn’t recommend working with Pinnacle Events or McGuire Gardens enough.
I met Julie with Pinnacle Events at a wedding expo at my venue, and I will be honest I was set in my own mind that I was NOT hiring a wedding planner. I didn’t think we could afford one and I thought we could manage. After my now-husband convinced me that we would need some help with the organization and the day of the wedding, I sat down with her. After that first meeting with her I knew I made the right decision. I felt like we instantly made a connection and felt completely comfortable that they would have our best interest in helping decorate and the design of our wedding. Then I met Emily, and it could not have been a better piece to finish the puzzle! She helped fill in all of the smaller details and final touches while Julie was on top of her game with all of the vendors and the big picture. I can truly say that my wedding day went completely smoothly because of these two; if there were any hiccups in the day I never once heard or worried about it because they completely took care of everything. Overall, I wish I had more events I needed them to help plan because I would use them over and over again.
I cannot say enough good things about Julie at Pinnacle Events! Julie was technically my day of wedding day coordinator but she did so much more then this! Anytime I had questions about how the ceremony schedule should flow or who a good photographer was, Julie had answers. She shared many great vendors with me and offered advice anytime I asked. At the last minute, my florist said they were unable to get the flowers I wanted. Julie immediately offered to put together my bouquets, even though she was busy coordinating my rehearsal and wedding!In addition to coordinating my wedding rehearsal, ceremony, and reception, Julie planned and hosted a bridal luncheon for myself, the ladies in my wedding party, a few close girlfriends, my mom, and my aunts. The party was divine! Every little detail was given attention, including small party favors for guests, a photo booth, beautiful decorations, and even a menu describing the food for the party. It was so elegant and beautiful, my guests raved about the lunch! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was relaxed, (which I needed to feel the day before my wedding)! Even though Julie was busy cooking and hosting the event, she took the time to talk to all of the guests. I felt incredibly special because of this fabulous luncheon with my family and friends! I am so thankful that Julie was a part of my wedding.
There is no way I could compose a proper review for Pinnacle Events. My wedding was my dream come true because of Julie and Emily at Pinnacle Events. Not only did they find my vendors, schedule the appointments, attend the appointments, and negotiate contracts for me, but they were also there for all the little things that come up during the wedding planning process that we don’t think about. Julie let me vent to her on more than one occasion and even offered to ride 2 1/2 hours with me to go pick up my wedding gown! Talk about above and beyond!The wedding was completely stress free! I did not have to worry about a single thing. Julie and Emily took care of every single detail, even down to checking in on a few family members with health issues to make sure they were doing okay. I knew on my wedding day that I could enjoy the day without hesitation simply because Julie and Emily were there!Not only were they my wedding planners, but we also became friends in the process and I cannot imagine my wedding without them!
